Game Day Goodie: Diet-Ditching Breakfast Wrap

Ditch diet rules and load up with a fiber, protein, healthy-fat rich breakfast! Eating more in the morning will help you feel more satisfied later in the day!


  • 1 – 6” inch whole wheat tortilla
  • 1 egg and 2 egg whites
  • ¼ cup grated 2% Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 oz turkey
  • ¼ avocado


  1. Scramble egg and egg whites in a pan or in microwave.
  2. Warm tortilla for 15 seconds in microwave then sprinkle graded cheese on tortilla.
  3. Top with scrambles eggs and turkey.
  4. Lay avocado slices on top, fold and enjoy!

Amy recently co-authored a sports nutrition book for triathletes “Swim, Bike, Run—Eat”.
