Tony Romo Tweets the Good News: He’s On Track for a Full Offseason!

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo used his Twitter account on Thursday morning to declare the good news:

“My surgery has healed up nicely. Looking forward to OTA’s and a full offseason. Let’s go!”

Romo underwent surgery in early March to repair a fractured collarbone which sidelined him for 12 games during the 2015 regular season. The surgery, known as The Mumford procedure, included shaving off a portion of his left distal clavicle, thereby lessening the stress on the bone.

Thursday morning’s surprise Tweet was the first action on Romo’s Twitter account since last November when he posted a snippet from a famous scene from the movie Major League which featured Tom Berenger’s character proclaiming, “There’s only one thing left to do, win the whole — thing.”
