If a picture says a thousand words than Jeremiah Jhass is telling the best story of what happened on the field this past Sunday in Philadelphia. During the Cowboys hard-fought win, Jeremiah produced some of the most powerful game images.
Trying to choose just 10 was not an easy feat but here we go:
This was Byron Jones’ first NFL road game and, to me, this picture is one of reflection. I would love to have read his mind when this picture was taken.
Leading up to the game there was a lot of talk of how the Cowboys were going to stop the Eagles’ 5-8 weapon of a running back. Here he is greeting our 5-8 weapon of a wide receiver, Cole Beasley.
The Defense dominated to help the Cowboys get the win.
Many training camps saw Lee going up against Murray during practice but he was never allowed to really go at him. Sunday, Murray was on the other side of the fence and Lee was able to show just why he is one of the best.
Tyler Patmon has come into play and not let himself be defined by circumstances.
Kyle Wilber completely changed the momentum of the game when he returned a blocked punt for a touchdown. It was the first touchdown of the game.
Tyron Smith smiling is a rare sight when he is going up against defensive lines but he must have liked what he was seeing from the sideline.
Brandon Weeden’s 42-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Williams sealed the Cowboys victory after a hard and emotional game.
I love to see players from both teams come together at the end of the game to pray together. It is a sight you wouldn’t imagine seeing but it reminds us all of perspective.
Old teammates Tony Romo and DeMarco Murray found each other postgame. The picture says it all.
